Nas has a new album on the way before the end of the year, and its name is sure to be a conversation starter. During an Oct. 12 concert at New York's Roseland Ballroom, the rapper told the crowd the album would be called "N*gga."
Def Jam had no comment on the title at deadline.
The set will be the follow-up to last year's "Hip-Hop Is Dead," Nas' Def Jam debut. The set has sold 743,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
As previously reported, Nas will also be the subject of a "Greatest Hits" album, which arrives Nov. 6 via his former label home, Columbia.
