Rage, Pumpkins Anchor Voodoo Music Experience

Rage Against The Machine and Smashing Pumpkins anchor a lineup of rock heavy-hitters and acclaimed New Orleans musicians for the 2007 Voodoo Music Experience, which is expanding to three days and will be held Oct. 26-28 at New Orleans' City Park. Wilco, Tiesto, Kings Of Leon, Ben Harper, Fall Out Boy, Common, Sinead O'Connor, Galactic and the Black Crowes are also on the bill.

Coheed & Cambria, Plain White T's, Mute Math, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, M.I.A., Paolo Nutini, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Spoon, Porcupine Tree, Circa Survive, Gym Class Heroes, Motion City Soundtrack and La Coka Nostra featuring Everlast and members of House of Pain round out the list.

Among the local acts confirmed are New Orleans Social Club, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, George Porter Jr., Henry Butler and Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk.

A limited amount of general admission tickets go on sale June 29. VIP packages will be available July 20 and provide access to a private entrance, closer parking, food and drink and upgraded bathrooms.
