'Tournado' Chronicles All-American Rejects Tour

Comments

The All-American Rejects have chronicled the two-year tour in support of their 2005 album "Move Along" with the DVD "Tournado," due July 10 via Interscope. The bulk of the film is a concert shot in Minneapolis, but it also includes a behind-the-scenes documentary of life on the road with the Rejects.

To coincide with the release, the Rejects have teamed with Pepsi for an extensive promotional initiative. The band designed 500 million Pepsi cans that will hit U.S. stores July 1, while Pharrell Williams has remixed the Rejects track "Dance Inside" as part of the ad campaign.

The Rejects will spend most of the summer working on their third album. "We definitely are a band that tries to get the biggest-sounding record out there, and we're gonna try again," frontman Tyson Ritter told Billboard.com last fall. "But I don't anticipate it being as slick as ('Move Along'). I think it's gonna be in-between the first and second records as far as sound goes."

The band will play a few shows while in the studio, beginning June 27 in Broomfield, Colo.
