R. Kelly is back with a new album titled "Double Up," set to hit stores May 29 via Jive, and he's asking fans to preview it by dialing in to a hotline (312-278-3965) for song snippets.

"Since y'all called, I'ma give y'all a few lil snippets. Here's what I'm about to hit y'all with," says the Pied Piper himself in a telephone greeting before going into five-second snippets of a few songs featured on the album.

"Blow It Up," featuring Young Jeezy and Young Dro, is the first track he plays, and "they're killing it," Kelly assures of his choice for guest features. "Leave Your Name," a track based on an answering machine greeting, follows, as Kelly croons, "Unfortunately I'm 'sleep, been out partying all night, and I'm blasted off that Hennessey. Leave your name after the beep, and I'm sure to get back with you if I'm not asleep or smoking on some trees." As the verse comes to an end, Kelly suggests, "That should be on your ringtone."

Other songs on the message include the title track, featuring Snoop Dogg, "Freak It in the Club," "Rockstar" featuring Ludacris, "Pull Your Hair," and "Put Some Money on It," featuring Rick Ross.

Kelly also claims that during the message recording, he was in the middle of working on a track called "Hook It Up" featuring Kanye West. "We're doing vocals on it," he says before going into the music, "but I guess I can play a little of what I'm working on."

And though Kelly admits the album is mostly uptempo, especially when compared to his last album, 2005's "TP.3 Reloaded," he confesses he felt the need to include a "slow joint. You know I had to do a slow joint! This is R. Kelly! You know I couldn't leave you hanging like that," Kelly says before breaking into the instrumental.

The first single, "I'm a Flirt" featuring T.I. and T-Pain, is slowly climbing the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
