Jackson, Strait, Buffett Rock Out On Live Set

Comments

Alan Jackson, George Strait and Jimmy Buffett's May 29, 2004, concert bash at Dallas' Texas Stadium is the source for a 15-track live album due April 3 via MCA Nashville. The aptly named "Live at Texas Stadium" features each man performing five tracks, both on his own and in collaboration with the other two artists.

Strait offers up his hit "All My Ex's Live in Texas" with Buffett and "Murder on Music Row" with Jackson, while Buffett performs "Hey Good Lookin'" with Strait and "Margaritaville" with Jackson.

Also featured is Buffett and Jackson's Hot Country Songs chart-topper "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" and Jackson's "Designated Drinker" with a guest turn from Strait.

All three artists are keeping a low profile on the road in the coming months. Buffett has just one show on his schedule (March 27 at Dune Preserve on the Caribbean island of Aguilla). Jackson has four on tap and Strait has nine; both artists will perform in early May at the inaugural Stagecoach festival in Indio, Calif.
