Damien Rice Readies Sophomore Album

Comments

Irish Singer/songwriter Damien Rice has set a Nov. 14 release date for his sophomore effort, "9." To be issued on Vector/Warner Brothers and Rice's own music imprint Heffa, the 10-track set is the follow-up to 2003's "O."

Rice recorded and produced "9" himself and also created the album's artwork. A handful of new tracks were previewed during a stint opening for Fiona Apple this summer.

"O" peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and has sold 657,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Here is the track list for "9":

"9 Crimes"
"The Animals Were Gone"
"Elephant"
"Rootless Tree"
"Dogs"
"Coconut Skins"
"Me, My Yoke and I"
"Grey Room"
"Accidental Babies"
"Sleep Don't Weep"
