Fiona Taps Rice, Garza For Summer Trek

Having completed a supporting run with Coldplay, Fiona Apple will embark on a summer headlining tour, beginning June 20 in Phoenix. Damien Rice will join Apple for most shows, while David Garza will open throughout the entire outing.

Apple will be out in support of her 2005 Capitol album "Extraordinary Machine," which debuted at a career-best No. 7 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 462,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Before the official start of the tour, Apple will play two shows next month in Florida and another in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Also part of the itinerary is a July 26 show as part of New York's Summerstage series in Central Park.
