Built To Spill Slates Spring Tour

Comments

On the same day Built To Spill's "You in Reverse" is released, the band will open a six-week spring tour. The Warner Bros. album is due April 11 and the tour will open with the first of two shows in Minneapolis.

The trek includes multiple-night stands in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and Carrboro, N.C. On March 15 the group will preview material from the album at the South By Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas, where the tour is slated to end on May 20.

Pre-sale opportunities with reduced service fees are available for most shows to registered members of the band's Internet Community.

"You in Reverse" is the follow-up to 2001's "Ancient Melodies of the Future" and as previously reported, the band's first with producer Phil Ek since BTS' 1993 debut, "Ultimate Alternative Wavers."

First single "Goin' Against Your Mind" will be made available Tuesday (Feb. 14) via digital outlets. The nine-minute track has been available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.
