50 Cent: No 'Expendable' Film, Las Vegas Video Shoot, Fall Out Boy Tour

Last week, it was announced Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson had been tapped to replace Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker in Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables." But today, 50 Cent's reps sent out a retraction. "50 Cent was offered the role of Hale Caesar in The Expendables," the statement read, "however as he is currently in the process of completing his forthcoming album "Before I Self Destruct with Dr. Dre and Eminemm, he was unfortunately not able to commit to the project."

In related news, Interscope records confirmed that 50 Cent, Eminem and Dr. Dre were in Las Vegas at the Palms Casino this past weekend filming the video for "We Made You," the first single from Eminem's "Relapse" album, slated for a May 19th release. The video will hit airwaves April 7th.

Eminem is scheduled to release a follow-up LP to "Relapse" later this year, while 50 Cent will be dropping two albums this year as well, including "Before I Self Destruct," which should hit shelves in June.

In other 50 Cent news, the rapper has announced he will join rock group Fall Out Boy for several dates on the group's Believers Never Die Part Deux tour, which begins next month. The rapper's first appearance will take place April 14 in Dallas.

Ludacris and Shawnna 'Battle' On Album

At a video shoot for OJ Da Juiceman's next single, "Stupid," that took place in College Park, Atlanta, this week, rapper Ludacris and Disturbin Tha Peace member Shawnna announced they will be releasing their collaboration album, "Battle of the Sexes," this summer.

"It's what the people have been waiting for," said Ludacris. "'It's never been done before - an album with both the female and male perspective, battling out every single song."

Leading up to release, the pair will leak the first single  "Everybody Drunk as F**k," which will be followed by "My Chick Bad."

Method Man and Redman Prepare Another 'Blackout"

Method Man and Redman are teaming up again to release "Blackout 2", the follow up to 1999's "Blackout!"

The Def Jam set, slated for an April release, features production by Pete Rock, Rockwilda and Erick Sermon, while Saukrates, Erick Sermon and Bun B, among others, make guest appearances. Tracks like "A-Yo," "Miss International" and "City Lights" will appear on the album.

"Blackout" has sold 1.6 million copies, according to Nielsen Soundscan.
