Sansa RhapsodyFrom out of nowhere, SanDisk has emerged to become the second-biggest seller of MP3 devices with its Sansa product, boasting a market share just under 20%. The company hopes to make an even bigger dent this holiday season with a unique ménage a tois with RealNetwork's Rhapsody service and big box retailer Best Buy. The Sansa Rhapsody is the featured device for their co-branded music subscription service, featuring an 8 GB hard drive and 32 hours of preloaded music selected by Rhapsody's editors. Rhapsody will regularly load updated music suggestions when the device is synced with the service. At $250, it could give the iPod Nano a run for its money.-- Antony Bruno |
