Samsung speaker MP3 player

Samsung Electronics has managed to add something new to the crowed iPod also-ran market with it new K5 MP3 player. The flash-memory based 2/4 GB device is much like its brethren PlaysForSure portable subscription devices, with a FM radio tuner, color display screen and simple navigation controls. But the K5 takes a departure with a set of slide-out speakers built into the body of the device. No add-on speakers or wires are needed. Earbuds are included, of course.

The product is available now for $210 and $260 for the 2 GB and 4 GB models, respectively.
