Billboard.biz contributing editor Andy Gensler is a writer, editor and enthusiastic dancer who has worked at and written for the New York Times, Rolling Stone and Spin. He co-founded the Mishpucha music collective and the No Dancing Allowed political organization fighting NYC's restrictive cabaret laws. He also edited the Daily Swarm and played guitar in the Homefries, an eclectic folk-metal-country-gypsy-punk band.
