Rap Genius tops a list of 50 sites that the National Music Publishers Association has targeted for publishing unlicensed lyrics based on a report prepared by musician and college lecturer David Lowery. The NMPA said it has issued take-down notices to all 50 sites, saying it plans "further legal action" if the sites don't remove the lyrics or obtain licenses for them.
