With their fun, fast paced tone of melodic energy that celebrates the feelings of being young and dumb, Brian Moss (vocals/ guitars), Peter Sullivan (bass), Adam Elliot (drums) and Nate Jensen (guitar) began their Wunder Years mission in the summer of 1998. Based out of Hayward, California, the themes of daily struggle and reflection towards the personal era of being a kid lyrically accompany the band's soundtrack of innocent pop. Tomato Head Records eventually took notice of this and released their debut EP Take It Off, Let It Go, Start From Scratch a year after they first got together. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
