Presenting a distinct combination of vigorous rock & roll strains with grunge-influenced picks, Waterneck liberates hard and muscular tunes, bringing forth striking melodies, hardened by classical heavy metal inspirations. It was in 1996, in Stockton, CA, that the crew first formed, with a lineup consisting of Bryan Vargem (vocals), Walt Hawkins (guitar), Mike Austin (guitar), Jason Stewart (bass), and Matt Gansneder (drums). Playing at numerous clubs all across California during the years that followed, Waterneck displayed its boundless heavy rock commands, assembling a loyal and thrilled fan base.
