TMI Boyz

Representing La Marque, a city in Galveston County south of Houston, TX, the TMI Boyz are comprised of Huskey, Dudella, and Sayeed and are closely affiliated with producer BC and DJ XO. The group (whose name is a moniker for Trap Music Incorporated) spent several years on the underground mixtape circuit, releasing numerous volumes of their Grindin' for a Purpose series, and were on the cusp of national recognition in March 2007 when their video for "I'm Fresh," produced by Mannie Fresh, was aired on BET's 106 & Park show. The TMI Boyz failed to release an album, however, and quickly faded from the media spotlight -- that is, until they were reportedly involved with a brawl at the fifth annual SEA Awards in Tunica, MS, on January 27, 2008, which resulted in the most press they'd garnered to date. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
