A rocking bar band with blues and folk influences, the Tightners formed in Calgary, Alberta, in 1992, named after a local slang term for alcoholic beverages. The group consists of singer Henry Lees; keyboardist John Parker; guitarists Peter Bissonnette, Don Henderson, and Kelly Cowan; bassist Steve Dueck; and drummer Gary Reimchen.
