Post-grunge hard rock band Tidewater Grain was formed in Philadelphia, consisting of vocalist Kevin McNamara, guitarists John Daly and Dave Lord, bassist Dave Fritz, and drummer/pianist James Billington. After gigging around the East Coast for a few years, the band signed to Warner Bros. subsidiary RuffNation. Their 2000 debut album, Here on the Outside, featured guest vocals from Deep Purple's Glenn Hughes. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
