Canadian musician and DJ, remixer, and producer Barry Harris, known for being the mastermind behind the 1980s dance duo Kon Kan, joined radio/nightclub DJ and remixer/producer Chris Cox in 1998 to form Thunderpuss. Even when they met for the first time in N.Y.C. while working on different projects, Thunderpuss emerged in Los Angeles, CA. After debuting in January 1998 with "I Just Wanna Be Your Everything," featuring vocals by dance music diva Thea Austin, the hit-making duo remixed the successful "Kiss the Rain" by Billie Myers. However, their breakthrough came after working on Whitney Houston's chart-topping single "It's Not Right, But It's OK." ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
