Columbus, OH's roosty punk trio Them Wranch consists of vocalist/guitarist Andy Ranch, vocalist/bassist Gerry Morrison, and vocalist/drummer Joe Patt (formerly of the Hairy Patt Band). The group formed in 1996, releasing 7"s on labels like Burnt Sienna and Medium Rare and touring with like-minded bands such as the Country Teasers. Them Wranch released their full-length debut Big Noise From East Maynard in 2000 on Ground Swell; despite its limited distribution, it earned the group critical acclaim and a deal with Orange, who re-released Big Noise From East Maynard in early 2001, just before they issued Them Wranch's follow-up, Medium Rare, that spring. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
