Montreal's the Snitches released two records in Canada, A Day at the A (1995) and Sleepwalker (1998), before signing with Universal Canada and Oh! Tonito (distributed by Darla) in the U.S. They resurfaced in 2002 with Star Witness, with the line-up of guitarist Patrick Hamilton, vocalist Scott Moodie, drummer Patrick Rico Naud and guitarist/vocalist Mike Webber. During its eight years, the Snitches have played with the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Queens of the Stone Age, Guided by Voices, Chumbawamba and the Mekons, while appearing on CBC's Musicworks and contributing songs to the film Cosmos. ~ Kenyon Hopkin, All Music Guide
