Biography

Though the members of post-punk revivalists the Rushes come from cities throughout the U.K., the group is based in London. Brothers Gerard (guitar and vocals) and James O'Connell (bass) met drummer Joe Allen and pianist Dan Armstrong while studying in Leeds. The group came together in 2006 and spent the following year touring and recording tracks for its debut album, Corners.
