Seattle lo-fi rock band the Pharmacy was initially constructed by guitarist/vocalist Scottie Yoder and drummer/vocalist Brendhan Bowers. Meeting in school, the two began working on music in 2000, recording noisy punk that caught the attention of their first keyboardist, Joey Seward. Just before a tour, however, Seward was in a serious bike accident, leaving the duo on their own. Upon return from the tour, Seward left the band to pursue other interests. The Pharmacy, who frequently enjoy extended tours, added Stefan Rubicz on keyboards and Ryan Thompson on bass.
