Originating from Stoke, England, the Last Drop's alternative rock tendencies throw a stylistic monkey wrench into the whole post-stoner rock underground scene, to which, under their previous name of Shallow, they were begrudgingly affiliated with for years. Having relinquished said name in a desperate attempt to avoid such a pigeonhole, singer/guitarist Tony Inskip, guitarist Danny Unnet, bassist Phil Brough, and drummer Rod Ryse revamped their act and resurfaced in 2002 with their acclaimed Music Cartel release, Where Were You Living a Year from Now. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
