The Jack Fords are a Cleveland, OH, five-piece folk and rock outfit that released a live debut album in 2006. That record, Bent Outta Shape, was a local critical and popular hit (not to mention being recorded at the bar in which the band built its credibility), which only reassured their fan base of more success to come. Formed by guitarist Bobby Latina and vocalist and guitarist Brent Kirby in 2005, the group soon rounded out its lineup with the addition of Paul Lewis on bass, Chris Hanna on keyboards, and Greg Campolieti on drums. Having spent their first year or so working on their live sound, the Jack Fords eventually built up enough of a buzz to warrant the recording of a studio record, slated for release in the winter of 2008. ~ Chris True, All Music Guide
