Biography

Suntan are a four-piece from Boston formed out of the meeting of guitarist Nick Holdzkom and keyboardist Lindsay Arth at a party in North Carolina. The two moved to Boston, where at a pizza place, Arth met guitarist Scott Endres. In April of 2001, the three-piece version of Suntan was established. A few months later, drummer Dominic Mariano was added to round out the band. With Suntan intact, the quartet quickly took to rocking epic jams and released their debut, Suntan EP, in 2002. Send You Home followed in the spring of 2003, establishing Suntan as a solid new Boston shoegaze outfit. ~ David Serra, All Music Guide
