Garrett Soucy, the Belfast, ME-based frontman of the contemporary Christian folk-rock act Tree by Leaf, teamed up with producer Andrew Luckless to form the Sunlight in Architecture duo in 2005. Formulating a wobbly, rustic sound that nodded to secular indie acts like Bon Iver, Grizzly Bear, and Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Sunlight in Architecture released their self-titled debut album via Long Ago Light three years later. ~ Margaret Reges, All Music Guide
