Raising distinct sound solutions within the alternative metal style, Subzid adds the aggressiveness of hardcore notes, therefore managing to create blistering and selected rock concepts. Ryan Furr (vocals) and Michael Bates (guitar) were the forming duo of Subzid in 1994. Drummer Ryan Ruark joined the unit two years later, securing one of the missing links for the band's sound to unfold itself. Even though they lacked a bass player, they began playing several live concerts around their hometown area of Rockville, IN. The addition of bassist JT Leonard finally completed the set of the crew, who slowly gained a considerable following, mostly due to their galvanizing live performances. After acquiring the production command of Andrew Snowden, Subzid recorded their first album, Metalcore, which was later issued in 2000. ~ Mario Mesquita Borges, All Music Guide
