Biography

RSS
The neo-psychedelic improvisational unit SubArachnoid Space formed in San Francisco in late 1995; originally comprising guitarist Mason, bassist Jason and drummer Michelle, they debuted early the following year with the single "Char-Broiled Wonderland," welcoming second guitarist Melynda shortly after the record's release. The full-length Delicate Membrane followed later in 1996, with Ether Or appearing in the early months of 1997; after the release of Almost Invisible, Jason exited SubArachnoid Space, and was replaced by bassist Andey. Endless Renovation followed in 1998, and a year later the group resurfaced with Sleeping Sickness and issued These Things Take Time in fall 2000. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
