Stryker is a radio personality whose career also encompasses television and music. While generally known as simply Stryker, he is also known as Ted Stryker and was born Gary Sandorf on June 4, 1971, in Los Angeles, CA. His radio career began at the University of Arizona, where he worked at 92.1 KFMA in Tucson, AZ. After moving back to L.A., he began working at KROQ 106.7 FM during the afternoon drive shift and also took Adam Carolla's position on the nationally syndicated talk show Loveline with Dr. Drew. In 2007 he joined the television show The Ellen DeGeneres Show for its fifth season. His renown continued to grow in subsequent years as he crossed over to the CD market with Total Dance 2008, Vol. 2 (2008), a popular mix album of contemporary dance-pop remixes released by Thrive Records. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
