Vocalist Starleana Young joined Slave with Steve Arrington in 1978. She left a year later with founder Steve Washington and Tom Lockett to form Aurra. Their biggest hit was "Make Up Your Mind," which reached number six on the R&B charts in 1981 for Salsoul. Young and Jones formed Deja in 1987. They scored a number two R&B single, "You and Me Tonight," for Virgin in 1987, and the follow-up single, "That's Where You'll Find Me," reached #17. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
