Sporto Kantes is a French downtempo electronica duo comprised of producers Benjamin Sportes and Nicolas Kantorovwicz that released its debut album in 2000. In association with the Parisian label Catalogue, Sportes and Kantorovwicz made their recording debut as Sporto Kantes in 1998 with a four-track EP, Nickson, which was followed a year later by a second four-track EP, Party (1999). The duo then made its full-length album debut with Act 1 (2000), which was subsequently reissued in 2003 with bonus material and new packaging. The second Sporto Kantes album, 2nd Round (2004), marked the duo's first appearance on the French charts. Third album 3 at Last (2008) was the duo's most successful to date, reaching number 95 on the albums chart. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
