Biography

Comprised of members of the Agency and the Vacant Andys, south Florida's Seville formed in 2001 and immediately began writing songs for their debut EP. The album, Waiting in Seville, appeared by the end of the year through Fiddler Records, giving them the chance to open for Dashboard Confessional for a six-week tour. Consisting of singer/guitarists Chris Drueke and John Owens, as well as bassist Dan Bonebrake and drummer Mike Marsh, the band toured behind the EP in 2002, occasionally sharing members with Dashboard Confessional when one needed the other. Early that same year, however, Marsh decided to stick with Dashboard full-time, so he was replaced in Seville by ex-Against All Authority drummer Kris King. The band suddenly broke up midway through 2002 while on tour; Drueke later released one more album, Take Me Home, under the name Seville, though he had a completely different lineup backing him. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
