Biography

This quintet, whose name is taken from the Shakespeare production, formed in 1998 at the University of Prince Edward Island. Their style of smart pop instincts and jazz-inspired lounge-pop has created a cult following throughout Eastern and Central Canada. The band has opened for Ron Sexsmith, Emm Gryner, and the Watchmen and has released two independent albums. Industry showcases have also been quite useful to the group, as they've performed at Toronto's annual North by Northeast Festival, Canadian Music Week, and the East Coast Music Awards. ~ Jason MacNeil, All Music Guide
