Inspired especially by the Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z, fellow New York City rappers with a flair for not only club tracks but storytelling, Reynos arose from his Washington Heights neighborhood in 2004 as one of the more promising Latino rappers to emerge in years. Only 21 years old at the time of his album debut, Reynos began rapping at a young age -- at age 11, in fact, long before he had many life experiences to draw upon. Over the years he perfected his flow and began to sharpen the substance of his lyrics, drawing from his life experiences while also summoning the sort of feel-good rhetoric that goes over especially well in club settings. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
