After performing with the likes of Dru Hill, Faith Evans, and 112, this Cincinnati, OH, contemporary R&B trio nailed down Dru Hill's Nokio to produce their debut single, "Let Me Be the One," which featured an appearance by Drag-On and remixes by Kelly G and Bad Boy's Prestige. The single attracted some attention, released on TVT in late 2000, and Ram Z aimed for commercial success despite the lack of a full-length album. The next year however, saw the release of Let Me Be the One in January 2001. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
