A Three 6 Mafia offshoot, Prophet Posse features members of that Memphis, TN, group -- Gangsta Boo, Indo G, Koopsta Knicca -- along with many of their Southern and Midwest peers. Masterminds Juicy "J" and DJ Paul play a large role in the group, both because of their musical contributions and also because the group is named after their Prophet label. Their 1998 debut, Body Parts, emphasized gory violence and featured contributions by the Dayton Family. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
