A Las Vegas based death metal outfit, Molotov Solution kept the proceedings interesting by melding their death metal chops with grindcore, hardcore, and a skeptical political eye, resulting in a deal with genre label Twelve Gauge, and a debut album that was released in 2008. The band formed in the City of Sin in 2004, and quickly released an untitled demo. 2005 saw the release of an EP, The Path to Extinction, and in 2006 the band provided one half of a split release album with War from a Harlot's Mouth. The band had gone through a number of lineup changes in their short career, but had settled on Nick (vocals), Robbie (guitar), Joe (guitar), Anthony (bass), and Jeremy (drums) in time for their self-titled debut in 2008 and 2009 follow-up Harbinger. ~ Chris True, All Music Guide
