Formed by art students in 1989, Argentinean Mister América burst into the local music scene with an alternative pop/rock style. The group made their debut in 1996 with Con El Agua Al Cuello. The album was considered to be one of the best records of the year by a survey that was conducted by a local newspaper. In 1998, the band put together a live performance called Despojado, the name was given to Mister América's second album. Insano followed in 2001. ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
