Miller Boyz is the moniker used for the father-son tandem of Master P (Percy Miller) and his son, Romeo (Percy Romeo Miller, Jr.). As solo artists, the two sold millions of records for Master P's own No Limit Records. Their first effort as duo, Hip Hop History was released in 2007. It was the inaugural release on Master P's new label, Take a Stand Records, a label Master P created in reaction to harsh criticism of hip-hop's lyrics and messages. With songs like "Love My Mama" and "Let the Kids Grow," the Miller Boyz and Take a Stand Records went on records as trying to combat the negative influences of the hip-hop genre.
