Formed by German DJ/remixer/producers Steven Sugar and Mike Milk (born Steffen Harning) in 1993, Milk & Sugar (aka Milk & Sugar All-Stars and Stone & Heller) had their breakthrough after releasing the club/dance hit single "Higher & Higher." In 1997, Mike Milk and Steven Sugar launched their own label. Three years later, their success in the local house music scene allowed them to get a German Dance Music Award for Best Independent Label. In the remixing field, Milk & Sugar achieved worldwide notoriety after issuing Samantha Mumba's "Gotta Tell You," Mya's "Free," and Usher's "My Way." ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
