Biography

RSS
Milano, aka M Dott Money, has held down lead roles in movie shorts in addition to taking a stab at a career in recording rap. Born in Las Vegas, NV, he moved to California's Bay Area when he was seven but eventually moved again to Richmond, CA. He has won rhyme battling contests and gained a reputation for such in the Bay. In the late '90s, Milano served a brief stint on Master P's No Limit Records as part of the Sons of Funk, but it was short-lived, as the label's time in the mainstream spotlight dwindled. He resurfaced in 2004 with his pop-polished rap solo album, My Life Is Like a Movie. After performing alongside popular rap acts such as Ludacris and touring with Akon, he was able to grab the attention of ICCE Records, which subsequently signed the artist. Riding on the Bay's hyphy music craze, Milano prepped The M Dott Report album for a 2007 release, featuring guest spots from E-40, Akon, and Sean Paul of YoungBloodZ. ~ Cyril Cordor, All Music Guide
