Thanks to his partnership with LTJ Bukem, MC Conrad has become one of the leading voices of the British drum'n'bass movement. His freestyle rhymes bring a sense of humanity and excitement to Bukem's Good Looking Records camp's many live performances and to their popular Progression Sessions series of albums. This polished and proven partnership between Good Looking's stable of DJs -- Bukem, Blame, Tayla, Rantoul, as well as others -- and Conrad sets the collective apart from the countless other DJs and MCs still struggling to mix rapping with drum'n'bass mixing. The British MC developed an ear for music at an early age, listening to his family's record collection before eventually being turned on by the early '80s electro scene. From electro, it was only a logical progression that he would soon immerse himself in the flourishing rap scene that was still developing in the mid- to late '80s. As Bukem's career as a precise DJ, a visionary club host, an innovative producer, and as the man behind Good Looking Records began to flourish, Conrad soon found himself an important member of the Good Looking camp, often the guiding voice at the live performances. Soon expanding beyond live performance and into the recording studio, Conrad began working on a project known as Words 2 B Heard, which aims to bring together vocalists, musicians, and producers in hopes of taking live vocal music to the next level of innovation.
