Biography

RSS
A Brooklyn vocalist who has been among the most successful session vocalists of the '80s and '90s. Fischer has accompanied Luther Vandross on almost all of his tours and also appeared on recordings by Billy Greene and Melba Moore. She got her shot as a solo artist in 1991 with the Elektra LP So Intense. The song "How Can I Ease The Pain" was both an urban and pop smash, and earned Fischer a Grammy for Best R&B single. Narada Michael Walden, the 1993 Grammy winner as Producer Of The Year, produced Fischer's followup LP, which was released in 1994. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
