Formed in 1998, Legends of Doo Wop features members from four 1950s vocal groups. Jimmy Gallagher was a member of the Passions, who had a hit with "Just to Be With You." Tony Passalacqua (aka Tony Passa) had hits with "Chapel Bells" and "Oh Rosemarie" when he was a member of the Fascinators. Frank Mancuso of the Imaginations had success with "Goodnight Baby," while Steve Horn's group, the Five Sharks, hit with "Stormy Weather" and "Gloria." The group has released two CDs, Alive and Legends of Doo Wop (which includes the Alive album plus five additional tracks). ~ Steve Leggett, All Music Guide
