Biography

RSS
Born in Toronto, singer and songwriter Leah Renee got her start at age 10, acting in the WB network's short-lived series Runaway. Five years later, singers like Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears influenced her decision to give music a shot and take the big risk of moving to New York City. The move paid off in 2009 when the Scion Music Group released her teen pop single "IBF", shorthand for "Imaginary Boyfriend". The track was produced by the Conglomerate who had previously worked with Rihanna, LL Cool J, and Kelly Clarkson. Renee also provides the voice of Beaver in the long-running children's series Franklin the Turtle plus the voice of Chris-Alice on the Discovery Kids network's Growing Up Creepie. ~ David Jeffries, All Music Guide
