Biography

Grab
LaTour was the alias of Chicago-based house producer William LaTour, who in 1991 scored a major club crossover smash with the novelty hit "People Are Still Having Sex," featured on his self-titled debut LP. Subsequent attempts to repeat this early success -- like the follow-up "Allen's Got a New Hi-Fi" -- failed, however, and 1993's Home on the Range appeared to little notice, with LaTour dropping entirely out of sight soon after. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
