Biography

La Arrolladora Banda El Limón were formed by clarinet player René Camacho, who became involved in local traditional Mexican music in the mid-'60s. This Mazatlán, Sinaloa-based act got international recognition during the '90s, becoming a top-selling group. Also known simply as Banda El Limón, this 17-piece band's album, Más Arrolladora Que Nunca, achieved gold status in 1998. After issuing Corridos Arrolladores, Fernando Camacho produced Simplemente...Arrolladora, which was released in 2000 by Sony Discos. ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
