Biography

Singer/songwriter Jemima Price began her performing career as a child, appearing in musicals like Annie and Les Miserables on both sides of the Atlantic. The Sussex, England, native concentrated on her singing career once she hit her twenties; when she was cutting a demo in a local studio, the engineer introduced her to the president of Dressed to Kill Records, who invited her to appear on the label's tributes to Kate Bush and Tori Amos as well as Bap Kennedy's Local Street. In particular, the Tori Amos tribute was so successful that the label offered Price a solo deal; in 2001, Dressed to Kill released her debut album Easy. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
