Comprised of guitarist/singer Norm Preston and drummer/singer Chris House, the Arizona-based duo the Ignitors specialize in Americana roots rock. Formed in the mid-'90s, the band issued their debut, Ghost Train in 1997, before following it up with their sophomore release, Speedway Sounds, in 2001 (both releases are on the Hayden's Ferry label). On their latest release, the duo was joined by outside members -- bassist Kris Olsen and pedal steel guitarist Jon Rauhouse. ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide
